Recently, ethical issues are arising in the medical field due to the development of biotechnology, and the importance of establishing and educating medical professionals on proper bioethics is emerging. This study conducted χ2-test, Independent t-test, and Multiple regression on 166 nursing students to identify the factors that affect the ethical decision-making confidence of nursing students' awareness of biomedical ethics and moral sensitivity. In terms of general characteristics, high employment rate (β=.180, p=.015) was found to be a factor influencing ethical decision-making confidence in nursing students' motivation to apply for nursing departments. In terms of biomedical ethics, newborn's right to life (β=.198, p=.011), euthanasia (β=-.160, p=.049), and in terms of moral sensitivity, conflict (β=.351, p<.001) were found to be a factor influencing ethical decision-making confidence. The higher the level of nursing students' right to life of newborns, euthanasia, and conflict, the higher their ethical decision-making confidence was. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a systematic and continuous education program that can establish the correct biomedical ethics awareness of nursing students, increase moral sensitivity, and consequently improve their confidence in ethical decision-making.

최근 의료 현장에서 생명공학 기술의 발달로 인한 윤리적 문제들이 발생하고 있으며, 의료인들의 올바른 생명 윤리 의식 확립과 교육의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 간호대학생의 생명의료윤리 의식, 도덕적 민감성이 윤리적 의사결정 자신감에 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위해 간호대학생 166명의 χ²-test, Independent t-test, Multiple regression을 수행하였다. 일반적 특성에서 간호학과 지원 동기가 높은 취업률(β=.180, p=.015)과 생명의료윤리 의식에 서는 신생아의 생명권(β=.198, p=.011), 안락사(β=-.160, p=.049), 도덕적 민감성에서는 갈등(β=.351, p<.001)이 윤리적 의사결정 자신감에 영향 요인으로 나타났다. 간호대학생의 신생아의 생명권과 안락사, 갈등 수준이 높을수록 윤리적 의사결정 자신감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호대학생의 올바른 생명의료윤리 의식을 확립할 수 있고, 도덕적 민감성을 높이며 윤리적 의사결정 자신감도 향상시킬 수 있는 체계적이고 지속적인 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.
