This study was a descriptive research study conducted to identify the factors influencing the perception of patient safety culture among geriatric hospital nurses and use basic data to promote the perception of patient safety culture. Subjects were 234 geriatric hospital nurses and data were collected from November 1 to 30, 2023. Data were analyzed t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe’s test, Pearson Correlation coefficients and Multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 29.0. Perception of patient safety culture was positive correlated with between patient safety motivation (r=.15, p<.05) and patient safety attitude (r=.29, p<.01). Factors influencing the perception of patient safety culture were patient safety motivation (β=.18, p=<.001) and patient safety attitude (β=.31, p=<.001), and the explanatory power was 22.6% (adj. R2=.207, p=<.001). Based on the results of this study, for increase perception of patient safety culture, to develop and apply a patient safety education program that considers patient safety motivation and patient safety attitude.

본 연구는 노인 요양병원 간호사의 환자안전문화 인식 영향요인을 파악하여 요양병원 간호사의 환자안전 문화 인식을 촉진하기 위한 기초자료로 활용하기 위해 실시한 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 노인 요양병원 간호 사 234명으로 자료수집은 2023년 11월 1일부터 11월 30일까지 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 29.0을 이용하 여 t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe’s test, Person’s Correlation coefficients, Multiple linear regression으로 분석하였 다. 환자안전문화 인식은 환자 안전동기(r=.15, p<.05), 환자 안전태도(r=.29, p<.01)간에 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 환자안전문화 인식 영향요인으로 환자 안전동기(β=.18, p=<.001), 환자 안전태도(β=.31, p=<.001)로 나타났고, 설 명력은 22.6%였다(adj.R 2=.207, p=<.001). 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 요양병원 간호사의 환자안전문화 인식을 촉진 시키기 위해서는 환자 안전동기와 환자 안전태도를 고려한 환자안전교육 프로그램을 개발하여 적용할 필요가 있겠다.
