This study aims to develop a competency-based major curriculum for the Department of Applied Music for the 2025 academic year. By analyzing the impact of the advancement of AI technology and globalization on the music industry and education, it proposes a convergent curriculum to nurture future-oriented talents. The research methods include SWOT analysis, industry and academic trend analysis, analysis of personnel training types related to the Department of Applied Music, IPA analysis of major competencies, and analysis of consumer demands. The study results indicate that competencies such as computer music application, album and performance planning, singing and playing, performance skills, producing skills, and K-Pop content development are important major competencies but require some improvement. By designing a curriculum that reflects these enhanced competencies, it is necessary to prepare students to be competitive in the digital environment and active in the global music industry. This study provides practical direction for universities preparing a curriculum for practical music majors and will be useful in curriculum development. Furthermore, this research is expected to contribute to fostering talent capable of leading changes in the future music industry by continuously updating the curriculum and creating a convergent learning environment. Additionally, this educational innovation will play a significant role in enhancing the global competitiveness of the Department of Applied Music.

본 연구는 2025학년도 실용음악학과 역량기반 전공 교육과정 개발을 목표로 한다. AI 기술의 발전과 글로벌화가 음악 산업과 교육에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 미래 지향적 인재를 양성하기 위한 융합 교육과정을 제안하고자 한다. 연구 방법으로는 SWOT 분석, 산업 및 학문 동향 분석, 실용음악학과 관련 인력 양성 유형 분석, 전공능력 IPA 분석, 수요자 요구분석을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 컴퓨터음악활용 능력, 음반·공연 기획 능력, 가창·연주 능력, 퍼포먼스 능력, 프로듀 싱 능력, 한류음악 콘텐츠 개발능력이 중요한 전공능력으로 나타났으나 일부 개선이 필요했다. 이러한 능력들을 개선하여 반영한 교육과정을 설계함으로써, 학생들 이 디지털 환경에서 경쟁력을 갖추고, 글로벌 음악 산업에서 활동할 수 있도록 준비시키는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구는 실용음악 전공 교육과정을 준비하는 대학들에 실질적인 방향성을 제공하고, 교육과정 개발에 유용한 자료가 될 것이다. 나아가 이 연구는 교육과정의 지속적인 업데이트와 융합적 학습 환경 조성을 통해 미래 음 악 산업의 변화를 주도할 수 있는 인재 양성에 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 또한, 이러한 교육 혁신은 실용음악학과의 글로벌 경쟁력 향상에 큰 역할을 할 것이다.
