This study examines the human view of the True Parents Theology for the understanding of Mutual Prosperity. In particular, I critically examined Michael Sandel's concept of “related self” from the viewpoint of the human view of the True Parents Theology and an individual truth being and a connected being, Self-Others Togetherism. The 'related self' has a frame that connects with the concept of a connected being in True Parents Theology. The limitations of the “related self” can be supplemented with the concept of an individual truth being in True Parents Theology. The civic virtue of the ‘related ego’ allows for a deeper discussion of Mutual Prosperity. The concept of the common good of “related self” is different from the absolute good of True Parents Theology. Sandel's argument was in the same vein as the True Parents Theology, which develops Mutual Prosperity based on Mutual Righteousness.

본 연구는 공영주의의 이해를 위해 참부모신학의 인간관을 살펴본다. 특히 마이클 샌델의 ‘연고적 자아’개념을 참부모신학의 인간관, 개성진리체와 연체, 타아주의 등의 관점에서 비판적 으로 고찰해보았다. 연구결과, 첫째, ‘연고적 자아’는 참부모신학의 연체 개념과 유사한 틀을 가지고 있다. 둘째,‘연고적 자아’의 한계는 참부모신학의 개성진리체 개념으로 보완할 수 있다. 셋째, ‘연고적 자아’의 시민적 덕성은 공영주의의 보다 깊은 논의를 할 수 있도록 한다. 넷째, ‘연고적 자아’의 공동선은 참부모신학의 절대선과는 그 개념이 다르다. 샌델의 주장은 공의주의 를 바탕으로 공영주의를 전개하는 참부모신학과 같은 맥락에 있었다.
