This research aimed to quantitatively and rigorously analyze the impact of the LINC program on the labor market outcomes of participating students and verify the policy effects. The policy effects were estimated by applying a difference-indifferences method to labor market outcome variables. The analysis results did not yield statistically significant impacts on the labor market. Even after conducting a double difference analysis by setting up treatment and control groups with similar characteristics through propensity score matching, statistically significant results were not observed in most cases. However, reflecting the reality that each university primarily focuses on engineering disciplines, estimating differential effects by major field revealed statistically significant positive effects in hourly wage, job satisfaction, job level relative to education level, job level relative to skill level, and the relevance of tasks to the major. The results of propensity score matching double difference analysis also showed an additional positive effect in reducing the time required for initial employment.

본 연구는 LINC사업이 사업참여 학생들의 노동시장성과에 미친 영향을 양적으로 엄밀하게 분석하여 정책효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 노동시장성과변수에 이중차분법을 적용하여 정책효과를 추정하였다. 분석 결과 노동시장에 미친 영향은 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 얻을 수 없었다. 성향점수매칭으로 유사한 특 성이 있는 처치집단과 대조집단을 설정 후 이중차분분석을 하여도 대부분 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타나지 않았다. 한편 각 대학이 공학계열을 중심으로 운영하고 있다는 현실을 반영하여 전공계열별 차 등효과를 추정한 결과 시간당 임금, 일자리 만족도, 교육수준 대비 일의 수준, 숙련수준 대비 일의 수준, 업무의 전공 일치도에서 통계적으로 유의미한 긍정적인 효과를 준 것으로 나타났다. 성향점수매칭 이중 차분분석 수행 결과는 추가로 첫 취업 소요기간을 줄이는 긍정적인 효과를 보였다.
