The purpose of this study was to provide basic data necessary to discover and develop the possibilities of high school athletes through research on career exploration behavior, career decision attitude, and self-determination of high school athletes. The survey tool used a questionnaire, and the variables were set as career exploration behavior, career decision attitude, and self-determination. For data processing, the conclusions obtained using exploratory factor analysis, frequency analysis, reliability verification, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis are as follows. First, there was a positive correlation between high school players' career exploration behavior, career decision attitude, and self-determination in all sub-variables. Second, high school athletes' career exploration behavior had a statistically significant positive influence on career decision-making attitudes. Third, high school players' career exploration behavior had a statistically significant positive influence on self-determination. Through these results, the justification for career exploration behavior before deciding on a career path was proved. In the end, this study revealed that it is necessary to provide career education and self-determination opportunities so that high school players can make career decisions in the desired direction.

이 연구는 고등학교 선수의 진로탐색행동과 진로결정태도 및 자기결정성 연구를 통해 고등학교 선수들이 지니고 있는 가능성을 발견 및 개발하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두고 실시하였다. 조사도구는 설문지를 이용하 였으며, 변인은 진로탐색행동, 진로결정태도, 자기결정성으로 설정하였다. 자료처리는 탐색적요인분석, 빈도분석, 신뢰 도 검증, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 활용하여 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학교 운동선수의 진로탐색행동 과 진로결정태도 및 자기결정성은 하위변인 모두에서 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 고등학교 운동선수의 진로탐색행 동은 진로결정태도에 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 영향력이 나타났다. 셋째, 고등학교 운동선수의 진로탐색행동은 자기결 정성에 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 영향력이 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 진로를 결정하기에 앞서 진로탐색행동을 해야 할 당위성이 증명되었다. 결국 고등학교 운동선수들이 원하는 방향의 진로결정이 될 수 있도록 진로교육과 자기결정 기회 를 제공해야 할 필요가 있다는 것이 본 연구를 통해 규명되었다.
