[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to help the meaning, value, and direction of elementary golf class. [Method] In order to achieve the purpose of this study, it was explored through literature research method, and divided into elementary golf classes and philosophical research areas such as ontology, epistemology, and value theory. [Result] First, in the problem of elementary school golf class and existence, the reason for existence and contents of after school with elementary school physical education class were explored, and the relationship between golf class and regular class as well as after school class in elementary school and the existence of golf in physical education were explored to discuss the necessity of elementary school golf class. Second, in the problem of elementary golf class and recognition, the recognition of golf was discussed through social, cultural, historical, and philosophical aspects, and it was suggested that comprehensive and humanistic classes mixed with theory and practice should be conducted rather than practice-oriented classes. Third, regarding the issue of elementary golf class and value, this study discussed value judgment in a narrow and broad sense in the meaning and value of golf in our society, and explored that elementary golf class should pursue human inherent value and happiness through ethical approach and reason.

[목적] 이 연구는 초등골프수업에 대한 의미와 가치, 그리고 나아가야 할 방향에 도움을 주는 것이 핵심이자 목적이 다. [방법] 연구의 목적 달성을 위해 문헌연구방법을 통하여 탐구하였으며, 초등골프수업과 철학적인 연구영역인 존 재론, 인식론, 가치론으로 구분하여 논의하였다. [결과] 첫째, 초등골프수업과 존재의 문제에서는 초등학교의 체육수 업과 함께 방과 후 학교에 대하여 존재의 이유와 그 내용들에 대해서 탐구하였으며, 초등학교에서 골프수업이 방과 후 수업뿐만 아니라 정규수업과의 관계, 그리고 체육학에서 골프가 학문적으로 존재하는 것에 대해서 탐구하여 초등 골프수업이 존재해야만 하는 당위성에 대하여 논하였다. 둘째, 초등골프수업과 인식의 문제에서는 골프에 대한 인식 에 대하여 사회, 문화, 역사, 철학적인 측면을 통해 논하였다. 그리고 실기위주의 수업보다는 이론 및 실습이 혼합된 종합적이고 인문학적인 수업들을 진행해야 한다고 제언했다. 셋째, 초등골프수업과 가치의 문제에 대해서는 우리사 회에서 골프에 대한 의미와 가치에서 좁은 의미와 넓은 의미로 가치판단에 대하여 논하였으며, 윤리적인 접근과 사 유를 통하여 초등골프수업이 인간 본연의 가치와 행복을 추구해야 한다고 탐구하였다.
