The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the impact of “processinnovation activities” and “cooperation with external innovation partners”performed by each department of SMRT, an EIPE, on innovation performance. Through this, this study sought to derive theoretical and practical implicationsfrom a viewpoint of MOT. In particular, this study derived the followingimplications from theoretical and practical aspects. First, as a theoretical implication, this study derived from a theoreticalperspective the need for process innovation in public organizations such asSMRT in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, where everything ishyper-connected and super-intelligence is implemented. Second, as a practical implication, this study obtained the following. 1) Thisstudy was able to present the basis for establishing a Technology SharingSystem to maximize innovation performance through activities for processinnovation in public organizations such as EIPE and cooperation withinnovation partners. 2) This study suggests that public organizations such asSMRT, an EIPE, should introduce external innovation capabilities frominformation sources such as universities and utilize them as capabilities fororganizational development and maximization of management performance. Thissuggests the importance of a communication system for cooperation withexternal innovation partners. Therefore, this study was able to deriveimplications of the impact of technology sharing and communication systems on the performance of process innovation in public organizations such as EIPE.

본 연구의 목적은 EIPE인 SMRT의 각 부서가 수행한 프로세스혁신을 위한 활동과 외부의 혁신파트너와 협력이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하는 것이다. 이를 통하여, 본 연구는 기술경영학적 관점에서 이론적, 실무적인 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 특히, 실증분석을 통해, 본 연구는 다음과 같은 이론적, 실무적 측면에서 시사점을 도출하였다. 첫째, 이론적 시사점으로, 본 연구는 모든 것이 초연결되고 초지능이 구현되는 4차 산업혁명 시대의 SMRT와 같은 공공조직에 있어 프로세스혁신에 대한 필요성을 이론적 관점에서 도출하였다. 둘째, 실무적 시사점으로, 본 연구는 다음과 같은 것을 얻었다. 1)본 연구는 EIPE와 같은 공공조직의 프로세스혁신을 위한 활동과 혁신파트너와 협력을 통해 혁신성과의 극대화를 위한 것으로 기술공유시스템(Technology Sharing System)의 구축 근거를 제시할 수 있었다. 2)본 연구는 EIPE인 SMRT와 같은 공공조직인 경우, 대학과 같은 정보원으로부터 외부의 혁신역량을 도입하고 조직발전과 경영성과의 극대화를 위한 역량으로 활용하여야 함을 제시하였다. 이는 외부의 혁신파트너와의 협력을 위한 의사소통시스템(Communication System)의 중요성을 시사한다. 따라서 본 연구는 EIPE와 같은 공공조직에 있어, 기술공유와 의사소통을 위한 시스템이 프로세스혁신의 성과에 미치는 영향이 시사하는 바를 도출할 수 있었다.
