This study decompose factors of output by industry in the metropolitan area (SMA) and non-metropolitan area (Non-SMA) at 2005～2010 and 2010～2015 using the IO-SDA model. In particular, by dividing the industry into 12 and subdividing the final demand, the contribution of each industry to the change of output and changes in final demand were derived in addition to the effect on the entire industry. Also, this study empirically analyzed changes of decomposition factors in output by industry due to population changes by constructing a panel simultaneous equations by considering the relationship among industry-specific output, employment, population, final demand, government expenditure, and private expenditure. As a result of decomposing the structural factors of output by industry due to population change, which results in a decrease in output by industry due to population effect. However, decrease in output is offset by employment and technological change effects. In particular, although output by industry was induced due to the population effect in SMA, it was maintained due to the employment and technological change effect compared to Non-SMA. The concentration of population in the SMA increased the population effect and output in the SMA, while it was opposite in Non-SMA. Therefore, the low total fertility rate (TFR), aging, and population inflow to the SMA simultaneously, Non-SMA were experienced to decline in output change.

본 연구는 금융위기 전・후로 시점을 구분하고, 수도권 및 비수도권 산업의 차별성을 반 영하여 산업별 산출량 변화 요인을 IO-SDA 모형으로 구조분해하였다. 특히, 산업을 12개로 구분하고, 최종수요를 세분화함으로써 산업 전체에 대한 효과 외에 개별 산업에 대한 산업 별 산출량 기여정도 및 최종수요 변화를 도출하였다. 또한, 인구변화에 따른 산업별 산출량 분해요인의 변화를 산업별 산출량, 고용, 인구, 최종수요, 정부지출, 민간지출 상호관계를 고 려한 패널연립방정식으로 실증분석하였다. 인구변화에 의한 산업별 산출량의 구조요인을 IO-SDA로 분해한 결과, 인구감소는 인구 효과 및 최종수요 변화로 산업별 산출량이 감소하였지만, 고용효과 및 기술변화효과로 인한 대체효과로 산출량 감소가 상쇄되었다. 특히, 수도권은 인구효과로 산업별 산출이 유발되며, 비수도권은 인구효과 감소에 비해 고용효과 및 기술변화효과로 산업별 산출이 유지되었다. 수도권 인구집중은 인구효과를 증대시켜 산출이 증가한 반면, 비수도권은 상반된 결과가 나 타났다. 따라서, 저출산・고령화 및 수도권 인구유입으로 비수도권은 인구감소에 의해 산출 량이 감소하는 실증적인 영향이 파악되었다.
