This study was conducted to examine the effect of social workers' empowerment on job performance through the mediation of job satisfaction. The subjects of the study were social workers working in community child centers in the Chungcheongbuk-do region, and 271 returned questionnaires were analyzed. SPSS statistical package 25.0 and SPSS Process Macro Model 4 were used to analyze the data. The results of the study are as follows First, the correlations between the variables were all positively related. Second, the empowerment of community children's center social workers had a significant positive effect on job performance through the mediating effect of job satisfaction, and it was found to play a full mediating role. Practical and policy implications for the job performance of community child center social workers are discussed.

본 연구는 사회복지사의 임파워먼트가 직무만족을 매개로 하여 직무성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위한 연구이다. 연구의 대상은 충청북도 지역에 근무하는 지역아동센터 사회복지사를 중심으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 응답한 설문지 271부를 분석하였다. 자료 분석을 위하여 SPSS 통계패키지 25.0와 SPSS Process Macro Model 4를 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 측정변수 간의 상관관계는 모두 정적인 상관관계를 보 였다. 둘째, 지역아동센터 사회복지사의 임파워먼트가 직무만족의 매개효과를 통해 직무성과에 유의한 정적인 영 향을 미쳤으며, 완전매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 지역아동센터 사회복지사들의 직무성과를 위한 실천적, 정책적 함의를 논하고자 한다.
