The conducted study is aimed at identifying the current trends, implementation and respective challenges faced by the users in the context of Voice Recognition Technologies. The three prominent players of the industry i.e., Google Assistant, Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri are used as foundational basis of the study. The study starts with a thorough secondary research in which relative literature on the topic is filtered and streamlined. A Qualitative approach is used for testing and analysis in the study. For qualitative analysis, open-ended interviews are 9mconducted including 10 main questions, which are directly related to the topic under emphasis. The results of the research are backed with academic evidence in the last chapters. The findings of the study show that even though voice recognition has been proved to be one of the greatest technological advancements in the current era, there are still many challenges including handfree connectivity, privacy & security and voice imprinting which need to be fixed for enabling a wide-scale implementation.
