This qualitative study was designed to explore the experiences of nursing and paramedic students who participated in Interprofessional Education (IPE)-based advanced life support (ALS). Nine students participated in the study, and data were collected by conducting focus group interviews following IPE-ALS. The focus group interviews were conducted after the education, one in a separate room for each profession. Qualitative data was analyzed to identify and categorize meaningful concepts, resulting in three concepts and ten themes. The study participants found that the IPE-ALS made them aware of the importance of interaction and collaboration with other professions, as well as the importance of methods of communication. They also found that self-reflection through debriefing helped them gain problem-solving confidence. Further development of scenarios and simulation programs on various topics will be necessary for the broader application of IPE.

본 연구는 전문직 간 전문소생술 시뮬레이션 교육에 참여한 간호학과 및 응급구조과 학생들의 경험을 심 층적으로 탐색하기 위하여 진행된 질적연구이다. 연구대상자는 총 9명으로 전문직 간 전문소생술 시뮬레이션 교육 후 포커스그룹 면담을 시행하여 자료를 수집하였다. 포커스그룹 면담은 전문직 간 전문소생술 시뮬레이션 교육이 종료된 후 각 직군 별로 분리된 공간에서 1회에 걸쳐서 진행되었다. 면담 내용은 모두 녹음되었으며 녹음된 자료 를 엑셀에 전사하여 질적 자료 분석절차에 따라서 분석을 진행하였으며 의미 있는 개념을 도출하고 범주화하는 작업을 통하여 3개의 개념과 10개의 주제를 도출하였다. 연구 참여자들은 전문직 간 전문소생술 시뮬레이션 교육 을 통하여 다른 직종과의 상호작용과 협업의 중요성 그리고 의사소통 방법과 중요성을 인식하였다. 또한 디브리핑 을 통하여 자아성찰을 할 수 있어 문제해결의 자신감을 얻을 수 있었음을 확인하였다. 향후 전문직 간 교육의 확 대 적용을 위하여 다양한 주제의 시나리오 및 시뮬레이션 교육 프로그램의 추가적 개발이 필요할 것이다.
