While big companies can efficiently generate their innovation performance,startups must construct dynamic capability by assembling entrepreneurialelements. There is little doubt that entrepreneurial orientation can and doaccumulate innovation performance by forming and reforming dynamic capability. In order to test our hypotheses, we investigate the impacts of entrepreneurialorientation on dynamic capability and innovation performance. From thepopulation 360 firms, we received 279 responses for a response rate of 77.5%. The results show that innovativeness, risk-taking, autonomy, and competitiveaggressiveness are positively associated with startup’s dynamic capability. Also,innovativeness, risk-taking, and competitive aggressiveness are positively enhancedentrepreneurial innovation performance. In addition, dynamic capability partiallymediated the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and innovationperformance. Based on the results of this study, we discuss the academiccontributions, practical implications, and suggestions for future studies.

대기업은 혁신성과를 효율적으로 창출하는 반면 스타트업은 기업가적 요소를 다각도로 조합하여 동적역량을 발휘해야 하는 어려움이 따른다. 참고로, 조직의 기업가적 지향성은 동적역량을 구축, 재구성하여 혁신성과를 일구는 데 가장 효과적이다. 본 연구는기업가적 지향성, 동적역량, 혁신성과 간의 관계를 분석하기 위해 창업 10년 미만의360개 스타트업 기업에 설문을 요청, 최종 279개 기업을 대상으로 분석을 진행하였다(설문 응답률: 77.5%). 실증분석 결과, 기업가적 지향성의 구성 요소인 혁신성, 위험감수성, 자주성, 경쟁성은 스타트업의 동적역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 동시에 혁신성, 위험감수성, 경쟁성은 조직의 기업가적 혁신성과에도 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 또한, 스타트업의 동적역량은 조직의 기업가적 지향성과 혁신성과를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 실증분석 결과를 토대로 연구의 학술적 기여도, 실무적 시사점,후속연구 방향을 결론에 간략히 제안하였다.
