The purpose of this study is to validate the Professors’ Career Support Scale for Korean College Students. To achieve the purpose of the study, a survey was conducted targeting 556 of 3rd and 4th year college students in Korea. Following two translation-reverse translation processes, content validity verification was conducted for experts and face validity verification was conducted for college students. Subsequently, a preliminary survey and a main survey were executed to confirm reliability, construct validity, and convergent validity. As a result of the analysis, the internal consistency coefficient of the professors’ career support scale was over .8, and both construct validity and convergent validity met the criteria proposed in previous studies. Subsequently, as a result of founding the criterion validity, professors’ career support showed a statistically significant positive correlation with general professors’ support and career exploration behavior. In particular, the correlation coefficient between professors’ career support and career exploration behavior was relatively higher than that between general professors’ support and career exploration behavior. Based on the above research results, suggestions for follow-up studies were presented.

이 연구의 목적은 대학생 교수 진로지지 척도를 번안하고 우리나라 4년제 대학교 학생을 대상으로 타당화하는 것이다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해, 우리나라 대학교 3, 4학년 학생 556명을 대상으로 설 문조사를 실시하였다. 이후, 총 2차례에 걸친 번안-역번안 과정을 거치고 전문가를 대상으로 내용타당 도, 대학생을 대상으로 안면타당도를 검증하였다. 다음으로 예비조사 및 본조사를 실시하여 신뢰도, 구 인타당도와 수렴타당도를 확인하였다. 분석 결과, 대학생 교수 진로지지 척도의 내적 일치도 계수는 .8 이상으로 나타났고 구인타당도와 수렴타당도 모두 선행연구에서 제안한 기준을 충족하는 것으로 나타났다. 이후, 준거타당도 확인 결과 교수 진로지지는 일반적인 교수지지 및 진로탐색행동과 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 특히, 교수 진로지지와 진로탐색행동 간 상관계수는 일반적인 교수지지와 진로탐색행동 간 상관계수에 비해 상대적으로 높았다. 상기 연구 결과를 바탕으로 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.
