- The purpose of this study is to comprehensively determine the changing influences of factors affecting the perceptions of marriage and childbirth intentions among Korean youth. In order to achieve this research objective, data from a three-year panel survey of Korean youth economic and social conditions conducted from 2019 to 2021 were analyzed. The survey participants included a total of 9,091 respondents over the three years, and the study involved 15 variables. Logistic regression analysis was applied to the data, yielding the following results. Firstly, for Korean youth, factors such as gender and living independently have a positive impact on marriage intentions, while age has a negative impact. Secondly, in terms of intentions for having children, factors such as gender, living independently, and having a regular job have a positive influence, whereas age and materialistic values have a negative influence. Thirdly, there are differences in preferences for childbirth and childcare support policies between groups with and without intentions of having children. The results of this study suggest that the government needs to strategically design the policy of vacation and allowance of childbirth for the young adults who have intention of marriage and childbirth.

- 본 연구의 목적은 한국 청년들이 인식하는 결혼 및 출산의사에 영향을 주는 요인의 영향력 변화를 종단 적으로 규명하는데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 2019～2021까지 3개년의 한국청년경제사회조사 패널데 이터를 분석했다. 분석에 포함된 3개년도 설문 응답자는 총 9,091명이고, 변수는 15개이다. 데이터는 로지스틱스회 귀분석을 적용하여 분석했고, 다음과 같은 결과가 나타났다. 첫째, 한국 청년의 결혼의사에는 남성여부, 독립거주 여부가 긍정적인 영향을 주지만, 연령은 부정적인 영향을 준다. 둘째, 한국 청년의 자녀 출산의사에는 남성여부, 독립거주 여부, 정규직 여부가 긍정적인 영향울 주지만, 연령, 물질주의 가치관은 부정적인 영향을 준다. 셋째, 자 녀 출산의사가 있는 집단과 없는 집단 사이에 출산 및 육아지원 정책 선호도에 차이가 있다. 이와 같은 연구결과 를 통해서 볼 때 결혼 및 출산의사가 있는 청년층에게 실질적인 도움을 제공할 수 있는 출산, 육아 휴가 및 수당 제도를 정밀하게 설계할 필요가 있다.

These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
