The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of fear of evaluation on students' self-handicapping, focusing on the mediating effect of resilience in academic situations. This study was conducted for dental hygiene students in some areas of Busan. As a result of the fear of negative and positive evaluation in academic situations was found to be related to resilience and self-handicapping, and it was confirmed that student resilience played a partial mediating role between these factors. Therefore, it is intended to be used as foundational material for the development of effective academic and emotional support programs for dental hygiene students.

본 연구는 부산광역시의 일부 지역 치위생(학)과 학생을 대상으로 학업 상황에서 평가에 대한 두려움이 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 중심으로 학생들의 자기 구실 만들기에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 연구 결 과, 치위생(학)과 학생들의 학업 상황에서 부정적 및 긍정적 평가에 대한 두려움은 회복탄력성, 자기 구실 만들기 와 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 이들 요인 간에 학생의 회복탄력성은 부분 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 확인하였 다. 이에 치위생(학)과 학생들의 효과적인 학업 및 정서 지원 프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용되고자 한다.
