This study, scents of warm images and scents of cold images were analyzed through olfactory sensibility of 18 types of scents, and scent preference according to warm and cold personal color type was analyzed. A survey was conducted targeting 30 adults with professional characteristics about orientation among adults in their 20s or older, and SPSS V.28 statistical package program was used for data analysis. As a result of the study, fragrance preference according to personal color appeared differently according to individual factors, and the association between smell and color was confirmed by overlapping distribution areas of adjectives for fragrance and adjectives for color. This study has significance in systematizing scent images suitable for personal colors in this era when each person's individuality is important, and providing basic data for scent selection.

본 연구에서는 18가지 향 계열의 후각 감성을 통하여 따뜻한 이미지의 향과 차가운 이미지의 향을 분석 하고, 퍼스널컬러 따뜻한 유형과 차가운 유형에 따른 향의 선호도를 분석하였다. 20대 이상 성인 중 향에 대한 전 문적 특성을 가진 30명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 자료 분석은 SPSS V.28 통계 패키지 프로그램을 사용 하였다. 연구 결과 퍼스널컬러에 따른 향 선호도는 개인적인 요소에 따라 다르게 나타났으며, 향에 대한 형용사와 색채에 대한 형용사의 분포 영역이 중첩되어 후각과 색채 사이의 연상 작용이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 각자의 개성 을 중요시하는 이 시대에 퍼스널컬러에 어울리는 향 이미지를 체계화시키며, 향 선택을 위한 기초 자료를 제공함 에 의의를 지닌다.
