Objective: This study aims to determine what students in the Department of Occupational Therapy experienced during visiting rehabilitation practice and to understand the essential meaning so as to provide a wide understanding of visiting rehabilitation practice. Methods: Among qualitative research approaches, phenomenological research methods were applied for data collection through one-on-one interviews with eight occupational therapy students between November 29 and December 15, 2022. Colaizzi's research method was used for the data analysis. Results: A total of 276 meaningful statements among the collected data were derived from 30 codes, 11 themes, and 4 theme clusters. It was found that after home-based rehabilitation fieldwork practice, occupational therapy students came to think of new experiences, psychological experiences, and occupational therapy as being different from pre-fieldwork practice. The limitations included unorganized fieldwork practice guidance management and differences in intervention according to the level of competence of the occupational therapist. Conclusion: Owing to the recent changes in the rehabilitation paradigm and increasing interest and need for community care and home-based rehabilitation, this study can be used as basic data to reflect and expand home-based rehabilitation fieldwork practice in a regular clinical fieldwork practice curriculum.

목적 : 본 연구는 작업치료학과 학생들이 방문재활 실습 동안 경험한 것을 알아보고, 본질적 의미를 파악 하여 방문재활 실습에 대한 폭넓은 이해를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 질적 연구방법 중 현상학적 연구 방법을 적용하여 2022년 11월 29일부터 12월 15일 사이에 작업치료학과 학생 8명을 대상으로 일대일 또는 그룹 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 Colaizzi의 연구방법을 사용하였다. 결과 : 수집된 자료들의 의미있는 진술 276개는 30개의 범주와 11개의 주제, 4개의 주제모음으로 도출되 었다. 작업치료학과 학생들은 방문재활 실습 후 전공 지식의 확장과 기존 실습지와의 차별화된 경험과 심리적 경험, 작업치료를 새롭게 생각하게 되었음을 알 수 있었다. 방문재활 실습의 한계점으로는 체계 적이지 않은 실습 지도 관리와 실습 지도 선생님인 작업치료사의 역량에 따른 중재의 차이 등이 있었다. 결론 : 본 연구는 최근의 재활패러다임 변화와 함께 커뮤니티케어 및 방문재활에 대한 높은 관심과 필요성 이 증대되고있는 추세에 따라, 방문재활 실습이 정규 임상실습 교육과정에 반영되고 확대되도록 하는 기 초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
