Due to the "Special Act on the Safety and Maintenance of Facilities" in Korea, periodic exterior investigations of buildings are required. However, since the survey method is based on manpower, it can cause problems such as accessibility to the survey target, safety of the investigator, cost and time, and reliability of the survey results. In order to solve the problems of this manpower-based investigation method, artificial intelligence, drones, and metaverse were used to automatically identify damage to facilities and develop convergence technologies that increase access to facilities.
