Drawing on the theory of planned behavior this study investigates the factorsthat determine the entrepreneurship intention of university undergraduatestudents. Specifically, this study explores the main constructs of the theory ofplanned behavior such as attitude, subjective norm, and behavior control ongreen entrepreneurship intention. In addition, the effects of environmentalconcerns and environmental knowledge of the undergraduate students areexamined on the attitude, subjective norms, and behavioral control ofundergraduate students. Data was collected from a sample size of 212 fromdifferent universities in Daejeon, Korea. Partial least squared-based structuralequation modeling was conducted to analyze the data. The findings showed thatsubjective norm and perceived behavioral control have positive significanteffects on green entrepreneurship intention whereas the positive relationshipbetween attitude and green entrepreneurship intention was not supported. Similarly, environmental concerns and environmental knowledge have significantpositive effects on attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. Based on the findings of this study, the theoretical and managerial implicationsare discussed in detail.

본 연구는 계획적 행동이론에 입각하여 대학생들의 녹색 창업의도를 결정하는 요인을규명하였다. 구체적으로, 본 연구는 녹색 창업 의도에 대한 태도, 주관적 규범, 행동 통제와 같은 계획적 행동이론의 주요 구성 요소를 탐색하였다. 또한 대학생들의 환경관심과 환경지식이 대학생들의 태도, 주관적 규범, 행동통제에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 자료는 대전에 있는 여러 대학의 대학생 212명으로부터 수집하였다. 자료분석을 위해부분 최소 제곱 기반 구조 방정식 모델링을 수행하였다. 연구결과 주관적 규범과 인지된 행동통제는 녹색창업의도에 긍정적인 유의한 영향을 미치는 반면, 태도와 녹색창업의도 사이의 긍정적인 관계는 지지되지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 마찬가지로 환경에 대한관심과 환경 지식은 태도, 주관적 규범 및 인식된 행동 통제에 상당한 긍정적인 영향을미쳤다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 이론적, 관리적 시사점을 상세히 논의하였다.
