Organic dye has been a serious problem in this century. Painting, textiles, chemicals, etc. are widely used and become a source of waste organic dye. Photocatalysts of stainless steel nanoformation by advanced oxidation process will decompose Rhodamine B. Fe2O3 and Cr2O3 are the main components of stainless steel nano formed by anodization which act as a z-scheme effect. Stainless steel mesh nano-formation is a developed material from a previous study called stainless steel nanotubes(SSNT). SSNT is used by a stainless steel plate which is less surface area, is heavier, has less degradation effect, and is non-economical friendly than stainless steel mesh. Stainless steel nano-formation characterized by EDS, SEM, XRD, XPS, and degradation result.
