The study examined the pathways from adolescents’ anxiety to happiness through relational aggression in adolescence and the differences according to gender in the relationship. The participants were 247 students(boys: 105, girls: 142). The data were analyzed with structural equation modeling and multiple group analysis. The results were summarized as follows: First, relationship aggression of adolescents full mediated the relation between anxiety and happiness. Second, the differences in gender in this study. Boy adolescents’ relational aggression does not mediate anxiety and happiness. Girl adolescents’ relational aggression seemed to full mediated the relationship anxiety and happiness. These results emphasized high levels of anxiety and relational aggression to improve adolescents’ happiness. These findings will be used as important basic knowledge for the development of various intervention programs for adolescents.
