This study aimed to investigate the significance of embodied language in the digital era by utilizing sports literacy as the discourse structure. The research approach adopted a literature review and semiotic analysis, while Johnson & Lakoff’s (1980) image-schema theory was used for the semantic analysis of sports experience essays. The study consisted of 28 physical education students from S. Women's University in Seoul, and it aimed to address three specific research questions. Firstly, the study aimed to explore the source of the literacy crisis in the age of Internet language. Secondly, it aimed to establish a link between sports experiential writing and literacy. Lastly, the study aimed to examine the aesthetic structures and educational implications of embodied language. The academic value of this study is that it provides an opportunity to reconsider the meaning of ‘embodied knowledge’ and the significance of sports literacy in the digital environment.

“디지털 시대, 왜 여전히 신체화된 언어가 중요한가?”이에 대한 해답을 스포츠 리터러시의 담화구조를 통 해 해명해보고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 문헌연구와 Johnson & Lakoff(1980)의 영상도식(Image-schema)이론을 차 용해 스포츠 체험 에세이에 대한 의미분석이 이루어졌다. 연구참여자는 서울 소재, S 여대로 28명의 체육교육과 학생들이다. 구체적 논의를 위해 세 가지 연구 문제들이 설정되었다. 첫째, 인터넷 언어 시대, 문해력 위기는 어디 에서 오는가?, 둘째, 스포츠 체험적 글쓰기와 문해력은 어떻게 연계될 수 있는가?, 셋째, 신체화된 언어의 미학적 구조와 교육적 함의는 무엇인가이다. 이러한 접근은 디지털 환경 속, ‘체화된 지식’의 의미는 물론 스포츠 리터러 시의 가치를 다시금 환기해 볼 수다는 점에서 학술적 의의를 기대해 볼 수 있다.

    Ever since next generation convergence technology became one of the most important industries in the nation, computing professionals have encountered a growing number of challenges. Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
