In this study, a survey was conducted on the awareness of convergence between other industries, which is emerging recently. A survey was conducted on whether or not there was an alliance with companies located in other regions and the type of alliance. And the expected economic effect of the partnership was also surveyed. It was confirmed that 91.7%, the absolute proportion of the surveyed companies, actively hoped for cooperative R&D with other regions. In particular, it is judged that the will to participate in the research project is strong in that 87.2% of the respondents are willing to pay their own expenses for conducting R&D. In particular, among those confirmed through this survey, the preference for heterogeneous legal personality such as industry-research cooperation (20.9%) and industry-university cooperation (16.2%), rather than cooperation between similar companies, was higher than that of similar SMEs (15.2%). it is judged that the results to be achieved through the current cooperative R&D have a strong purpose to provide a bridgehead for the advancement of new industries through convergence with heterogeneous fields. In addition, it seems that the goal to be achieved through R&D is not limited to the product unit and prefers R&D in the form of high ripple effect across the company.

본 연구에서는 최근 대두되고 있는 이종 산업간 융합 등에 대해 기업 현장 종사자들이 어떠한 의견을 갖고 있는지에 대한 인식을 확인하기 위해 기획되었다. 특히 새로운 분야의 산업과의 협력모델을 구축하기 위해 타 지역 소재 기업 등과의 제휴 희망여부 및 제휴 형태 등에 대한 설문을 수행하였고, 이와 함께 해당 제휴를 통해 기대되는 경제적 효과에 대해서도 설문하였다. 설문조사 대상 기업들의 절대적인 비중인 91.7%가 타 지역과의 협력 R&D를 적극 희망하는 것으로 확인되었다. 특히 연구개발을 수행하는 데 있어 자비용을 부담할 의사가 있다는 응답자가 전체 87.2%라는 점에서 연구 사업의 참여를 희망하는 의지가 강력하다고 판단된다. 특히 이번 설문조사를 통해 확인된 중에는 유사 기업간의 협력이 아닌 산-연 협력(20.9%), 산-학 협력(16.2%) 등 이종 법인격과의 선호도가 유사한 중소기업간 협력(15.2%)에 비해 높게 집계되었다. 이 역시 현재 협력 R&D를 통해 달성하고자 하는 성과는 이종 분야와의 융합을 통한 신규 산업의 진출의 교두보를 마련하기 위한 목적이 강하다 판단된다. 또한 R&D를 통해 달성하고자 하는 목표가 제품 단위에 국한되지 않고 기업 전반의 파급효과가 높은 형태의 R&D를 선호하는 것으로 엿보인다. 이는 완료 이후 5년 이상 등 중장기적인 R&D 효과를 기대하고 있다는 응답이 상대적으로 다소 높았다는 점에서도 확인 가능하며, 매출기여효과 지속기간으로 4년을 꼽은 기업의 34.5%라는 사실 또한 이러한 상황을 뒷받침한다.
