It was decided that the 4th Lausanne Congress in 2024 would be held jointly with churches in Asia in Korea. Can the Chinese church participate in the Lausanne Movement? China's religious policy during the Xi Jinping era can be said to be a control policy that advocated legalization and sinicization. It was conceived for the purpose of finding the possibility of Chinese churches participating in the Lausanne Movement by analyzing the , which is the legal basis for China's religious policy. In 1978, when the reform and opening up policy was implemented, China reinterpreted socialism and advocated socalled socialism with Chinese characteristics. Accordingly, they gave up the traditional religious policy of forcibly eradicating religion and began to vigorously pursue a policy of religious freedom to concentrate all the capabilities of the religious world on the development of socialism. In this difficult situation, what is the way for Chinese churches to participate in the Lausanne Movement? Just as the Lausanne Movement has to play the role of balancing evangelism and ecumenicalism in mission theology for world evangelization, the Lausanne Movement must be exercised to overcome the dual structure of the Chinese church.

제4차 로잔대회가 2024년에 한국에서 아시아 지역 교회와 공동으로 개최하기로 결정되었다. 이를 계기로 중국 교회가 로잔운동에 참여할 수 있을지가 중요한 연구과제로 등장하였다. 본 연구는 시진핑(习近平) 시기 중국 종교정책의 법적 근거인 <(수정)종교사무조례>를 분석하여 중국 교회 가 로잔운동에 참여할 가능성을 찾아보려는 목적으로 구상하였다. 1978년 개혁개방 정책을 시행하면서 중국은 사회주의를 새롭게 해석 하여 이른바 중국적 특색을 지닌 사회주의(中国特色社会主义)를 표방하였 다. 이에 따라 종교를 강제적으로 말살하려는 전통적인 종교정책을 포기하 고 종교계의 모든 역량을 사회주의 발전에 집중시키기 위한 종교자유정책 을 강력하게 추진하기 시작하였다. 그러나 이러한 기조는 시진핑이 정권을 잡으면서 급격하게 변화하기 시작했다. 이러한 어려운 상황에서 중국 교회 가 로잔운동에 참여할 수 있는 길은 무엇일까? 로잔운동이 세계 복음화를 위해 선교신학적으로 복음주의와 에큐메니컬 사이의 균형을 잡아주는 역 할을 감당해야 하는 것처럼 중국 교회의 이중적인 구조를 극복하기 위해서 는 로잔운동의 운동성이 발휘되어야 할 것이다
