This study compared and analyzed the changes in media articles related to 'Elderly with dementia' reported before and after the implementation of the National Responsibility System for Dementia by period. For this, a five-year period was selected before implementation (2012-2016) and after implementation (2017-2021), and media articles were collected and analyzed using BIGKinds. The main result was that there was a difference in keyword trends, related words, and relation diagram for media articles related to 'Elderly with dementia' before and after the implementation of the National Responsibility System for Dementia. The results of this study are significant in that they provided basic data on the direction of improvement in systems and policies related to 'Elderly with dementia' through big data.

본 연구는 치매국가책임제가 시행되기 전과 시행 후 보도된 ‘치매노인’ 관련 언론기사들이 시기별로 어떠 한 변화가 나타나는지 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 시행 전(2012~2016년)과 시행 후(2017~2021년)를 각각 5년씩 기간을 선정하여 빅카인즈를 활용하여 언론기사를 수집하고 분석하였다. 주요 결과는, 첫째, 치매국가책임제를 시 행하기 이전에 비해 이후 ‘치매노인’관련 언론기사 수가 증가하였으며, 둘째, 연관어에서 ‘치매노인’과 더불어 가족 을 위한 제도마련 필요성에 대한 기사가 나타나고 있으며, 셋째, 관계도에서 ‘치매노인’과 ‘치매국가책임제’, ‘보건복 지부’, ‘건강보험공단’, ‘요양보호사’, ‘간호사’가 유기적인 관계를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 빅데 이터를 통해 ‘치매노인’과 관련된 언론기사를 분석함으로써 ‘치매노인’과 관련하여 제도 및 정책에 있어 개선방향 에 대한 기초자료를 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다.
