This study intend to provide basic data for preparing guidelines for the proper use of inter-toothbrush through a comparative study on the size of interdental space and interdental toothbrush according to periodontal health conditions. From June 1 to August 1, 2022, SPSS (ver. 23.0 windows, Chicago, IL, USA) was used for data analysis after explaining the purpose and method of the study to one or more patients who did not lose contact points between natural teeth. As a result of the study, it is necessary to prepare standards for the size selection of domestic interstitial toothbrushes and standardize the processing standards for inter-dental toothbrushes in order to effectively use inter-dental toothbrushes for patients with periodontal disease It's being fed.

본 논문에서는 치주건강상태에 따른 치간공극과 치간칫솔 사이즈 비교연구를 통하여 올바른 치간칫솔의 활용을 위한 지침마련의 기초자료를 제공하고자한다. 2022년 6월1일부터 8월1일까지 부산소재의 ‘o’치과진료기관에 내원하는 환자 중 자연치아간의 접촉점이 상실되지 않은 부위를 1개이상 보유한 자에게 연구의 목적과 방법에 대 해 설명하고 동의를 구한 후 자기기입식 설문조사와 구강검사를 시행하였으며, 자료 분석은 SPSS(ver. 23.0 for windows, Chicago, IL, USA)를 사용하였다. 연구결과 정상 치주조직에서의 평균보다 치은 부종이나 치은출혈이 있는 경우 치간칫솔의 치간통과경은 감소하였으며, 치은퇴축이 있는 경우 치간통과경은 증가하였다. 이에 치주질 환자의 효과적인 치간칫솔 사용을 통한 구강 건강 증진을 위하여 국내 제조 치간칫솔의 사이즈 선택에 대한 기준 마련 및 치간칫솔 가공기준의 표준화가 필요하다 사료된다.
