This study is a descriptive research study to understand the effect of emotional intelligence and grit on clinical reasoning competence of fourth grade of nursing students. The subjects of this study were 143 fourth grade of nursing students who understood the purpose of this study and voluntarily participated in the study. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using IBM SPSS 23.0 program. The factors affecting the clinical reasoning ability of the subjects were clinical practice satisfaction (t=.2.66, P=.009) and emotional intelligence (t=5.06, P<.001), and the explanatory power of these variables on clinical reasoning ability was 33.6%. Clinical reasoning ability was found to have a statistically significant positive correlation with emotional intelligence and grit. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a program that enhances clinical practice satisfaction and emotional intelligence in order to enhance the clinical reasoning ability of nursing students.

본 연구는 졸업학년 간호학생의 감성지능과 그릿이 임상추론역량에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구 이다. 연구대상자는 본 연구의 목적을 이해하고 자발적으로 연구에 참여한 졸업학년 간호학생 143명이다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 대상자의 임상추론역량에 영향을 미치는 요인은 감성지능(t=5.06, P<.001)과 임상 실습만족도(t=2.66, P=.009) 이었으며 이들 변수들이 임상추론역량에 미치는 설명력은 33.6%이었다. 임상추론역량은 감성지능, 그릿과 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 간호학생의 임상추론 역량을 증진시키기 위해 감성지능과 임상실습만족도를 강화하는 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.
