This study aims to examine changes to the operation of Taekwondo-jang shuttles according to the mandatory requirement for caregivers to ride with children on their commuting vehicles and predict possible changes to the operation of Taekwondo-jang shuttles in the future. For these purposes, the investigator conducted a semi-structured interview with instructors at Taekwondo-jang and collected and put together their opinions about differences in the operation of Taekwondo-jang shuttles between the past and the present and the requirement for caregivers to ride with children on such shuttles. The findings led to the following conclusions: first, the mandatory requirement for caregivers to ride with children on Taekwondo-jang shuttles will add more personnel expenses and thus drive training fees; secondly, Taekwondo-jang will have a burden with personnel expenses according to the mandatory requirement for caregivers to ride with children on Taekwondo-jang shuttles, thus possibly reducing or discontinuing the operation of shuttles; and finally, when new Taekwondo-jang are open in the future, they will find it a requisite to operate a shuttle rather than an option. Based on the results of this study, various measures should be proposed through consultation between the association, the government, and leaders on realistic responses to the compulsory boarding system. It is expected that additional research will be needed.

이 연구는 어린이 통학차량 동승보호자 탑승 의무화에 따른 태권도장 차량운행의 변화를 살펴보고 앞으로 태권도 장의 차량운행에 어떠한 변화가 생길지에 대해 예측해보는데 이 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 태권도장 지도자를 대상으로 반구조화된 면담법을 실시하였으며, 과거와 현재의 태권도장 차량 운행의 차이점과 동승보 호자 탑승에 대한 견해, 앞으로의 태권도장 차량운행 전망에 대한 의견을 종합하여 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동승보호자 탑승 의무화에 따라 인건비 추가 발생으로 인하여 수련비가 상승할 것으로 전망된다. 둘째, 동승보호자 탑승 의무화에 따른 인건비 지출에 대한 부담은 차량운행 축소 또는 미운행으로 이어질 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 앞으로 새롭게 개관하는 태권도장의 경우 차량운행은 필수가 아닌 선택사항이 될 것으로 보인다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 동승보 호자 탑승 의무화 제도에 따른 현실적인 대응방법에 대하여 협회와 정부, 지도자 간의 협의를 통한 다양한 방안이 제시되어 야 하며, 태권도장의 차량운행을 당연하게 받아들였던 학부모들의 경우에도 인식의 변화가 찾아올 것으로 예상되는 바 그에 따른 추가적인 연구도 필요하다고 사료된다.
