In this study, the multi-mediation of emotional recognition clarity and emotional expression ambivalence in the relationship between adult attachment and depression in middle age was verified to reduce depression.. A survey was conducted on 440 middle-aged men and women nationwide and the data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and PROCESS Macro. The results showed that stable attachment has a negative(-) effect on depression, and attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance have a positive(+) effect for depression. Second, stable attachment is found to have a positive(+) effect on emotional recognition clarity, attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance have a negative(-) effect on emotional recognition clarity, stable attachment has a negative(-) effect on emotional expression ambivalence, and attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance have a positive(+) effect on emotional expression ambivalence. Third, emotional recognition clarity has a negative(-) effect on depression, and emotional expression ambivalence has a positive(+) effect on depression. Fourth, in the relationship between adult attachment and depression, emotional recognition clarity and emotional expression ambivalence have multiple mediating effects. Therefore, significance and limitations were discussed based on the results of this study.

본 연구는 중년기 성인애착과 우울 간의 관계에서 정서인식명확성, 정서표현양가성의 다중매개를 검증하 여 우울의 감소를 위한 요인들을 탐색하는데 의의가 있다. 전국의 중년기 남녀 440명을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였 으며, SPSS 21.0와 PROCESS Macro를 사용하여 자료를 분석했다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 애착안정은 우울에 부적 (-)인 영향을, 애착불안과 애착회피는 우울에 정적(+)인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 애착안정은 정서인 식명확성에 정적(+)인 영향을, 애착불안과 애착회피는 정서인식명확성에 부적(-)인 영향을, 애착안정은 정서표현양 가성에 부적(-)인 영향을, 애착불안과 애착회피는 정서표현양가성에 정적(+)인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋 째, 정서인식명확성은 우울에 부적(-)인 영향을, 정서표현양가성은 우울에 정적(+)인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다. 넷째, 성인애착과 우울 간의 관계에서 정서인식명확성과 정서표현양가성은 다중매개효과를 가진다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.
