This study empirically analyzed the educational conditions and quantitative evaluation diagnostic indicators of educational performance of 'university basic competency diagnosis' of private universities. The analysis results of the persistence of educational conditions of private universities on educational performance are as follows. First, according to regional characteristics, most of the educational conditions and educational outcomes in the metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas showed higher average values for non-metropolitan universities than for metropolitan universities. Second, it was found that the relationship with the recruitment rate of new students had a significant effect on corporate accountability, full-time teacher acquisition rate, scholarship per student, education cost per student, number of courses by student size, and appropriateness of lecture size. Third, it was found that there was no relevance in all variables in the relationship with the recruitment rate of enrolled students. Fourth, variables related to the employment rate of graduates were found to be appropriate for corporate accountability, full-time teacher acquisition rate, scholarship per student, number of courses by student size, and size. Fifth, related to maintenance employment rate, What should be noted in this study is that there is no significant relationship between educational performance (new student recruitment rate, student recruitment rate, graduate employment rate, maintenance employment rate) and educational conditions (teacher credit rate), and these results are taken as natural. It is considered necessary for the competent institution to present in detail the relationship between the diagnostic index of educational conditions and the diagnostic index of educational performance.

본 연구는 사립대학의 ‘대학 기본역량 진단’의 교육여건과 교육성과의 정량평가 진단지표를 실증 적으로 분석하였다. 사립대학의 교육여건 지속성이 교육성과에 미치는 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역별 특성에서 따라 수도권과 비수도권의 교육여건과 교육성과는 대부분 차이가 있는 것 으로 나타났으며, 교육여건의 결과는 비수도권대학이 수도권대학보다 대부분 높은 평균값을 보였으 나, 교육성과에서는 수도권대학이 비수도권대학보다 높은 평균값을 보였다. 둘째, 신입생 충원율과의 관련성에서 법인 책무성, 전임교원 확보율, 재학생1인당 장학금, 재학생1 인당 교육비, 학생규모별 강좌수, 강의규모의 적정성에서 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 재학생 충원율과의 관련성에서는 모든 변수에서 관련성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 졸업생 취업률과의 관련성을 보인 변수는 법인 책무성, 전임교원 확보율, 재학생1인당 장학 금, 학생규모별 강좌수, 강의규모의 적정성으로 나타났으며, 다섯째, 유지 취업률과의 관련성에서는 전인교원 확보율, 재학생1인당 교육비, 학생규모별 강좌수, 강의규모의 적정성에서 유의한 관계를 보였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 교육성과(신입생 충원율, 재학생 충원율, 졸업생 취업률, 유지 취업률)과 교 육여건(강사담당 학점 비율)은 모두 유의한 관련성이 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 결과는 당연 한 결과로 사료된다. 교육여건의 진단지표와 교육성과의 진단지표의 관련성에서 대해, 구체적으로 어떠한 관련성이 있 는지를 주무 기관에서는 자세히 제시해야 할 필요가 있을 것으로 사료된다.
