A Literature Review of Auricular Acupressure Intervention Studies

This study was attempted to understand the current status of auricular acupressure therapy nursing intervention studies conducted in Korea since 2000 and to examine the effectiveness of the study. A total of 39 researches were used for the analysis. The majority of study subjects were the elderly 12 cases (30.8%), adults, pre-hypertensive adults, female workers, obese women, menopausal women, postpartum mothers, female college students, adolescent middle and high school students, rheumatoid arthritis patients, constipation patients, stroke patients, dry eye syndrome patients allergic rhinitis patients, diabetic patients, hemodialysis patients, and cancer patients. As for the study method, the unequal control before and after design was the most with 25 (38.5%), and the number of study subjects ranged from 16 to 45 in the experimental group and 11 to 44 in the control group. Auricular acupressure therapy was found to have a significant effect on physical, physiological, and psychological variables. Therefore, the results of this study provide useful information that acupressure therapy is effective, has few side effects, is low in cost, and has the advantage that it can be applied regardless of time and place, so it is an effective nursing intervention.

본 연구는 2000년 이후 국내에서 실시한 이압요법 간호중재 연구의 현황을 파악하고 연구의 효과를 알아 보기 위해 시도되었다. 분석에 사용된 논문은 총 39편이었다. 연구대상자는 노인이 12편(30.8%)으로 가장 많았으 며, 성인, 고혈압 전단계 성인, 여성근로자, 비만 여성, 갱년기 여성, 산욕기 산모, 여대생, 사춘기 중고생, 류마티스 관절염 환자, 변비 환자, 뇌졸중 환자, 안구건조증 환자, 알레르기 비염 환자, 당뇨병 환자, 혈액 투석 환자, 암환자 이었다. 연구방법은 비동등성 대조군 전후설계가 25편(38.5%)으로 가장 많았으며 연구대상자수는 실험군은 16명에 서 45명, 대조군은 11명에서 44명이었다. 이압요법은 신체, 생리적, 정신심리적 변수에서 유의한 효과가 있는 것으 로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과는 이압요법이 효과가 빠르고 부작용이 거의 없으며 비용이 적게 들고 시간과 장 소에 구애받지 않고 적용이 가능하다는 이점이 있어 효율적인 간호중재라는 유용한 정보를 제공한다.
