The ESG management paradigm shift is accelerating due to the impact of COVID-19, and various stakeholders who have an impact on corporate management and corporate value are demanding ESG management. Currently, advanced global companies are solving various problems facing companies by applying new technologies related to the 4th industrial revolution to their businesses. Previous studies focused on the ESG point of view or the block chain point of view, and there were some limitations in seeing the overall flow of introducing block chain technology to ESG management. Therefore, this study deals with the concept, importance, and major issues of ESG management, and introduces blockchain among technologies to solve major ESG issues by grafting new technologies related to the 4th industrial revolution to respond [Starbucks 'bean to cup' project] Through case studies, we want to find insights into overcoming internal and external risks through ESG management and creating new values to move forward with sustainable growth.

코로나 19 영향으로 ESG 경영 패러다임 대전환이 가속화되고, 기업 경영과 기업 가치에 영 향을 미치는 다양한 이해관계자들은 ESG경영을 요구 하고 있는 상황이다. 현재 글로벌 선진 기 업들은 4차 산업혁명 관련 신기술을 자사의 비즈니스에 접목해 기업에 직면한 다양한 문제를 해결하고 있다. 이전 연구들은 ESG 관점 혹은 블록체인 관점에 치중되어 분석을 함으로써, ESG경영에 블록체인 기술을 도입하게 된 전체적인 흐름을 보기에 다소 한계점이 존재했다. 이 에 본 연구는 ESG 경영의 개념, 중요성 및 주요이슈 등을 다루어 보고, 이에 대응하기 위한 4 차 산업혁명 관련 신기술을 접목해 ESG 주요 이슈를 해결하는 기술 중 블록체인 도입 [스타벅 스 ‘빈투컵(bean to cup)’ 프로젝트] 사례연구를 통하여 ESG 경영으로 대내외 리스크를 극복하 고, 새로운 가치를 창출하여 지속적인 성장으로 나아가는 데 통찰력을 찾고자 한다.
