The core function of local broadcasting is in the production and distribution of content rich in locality, but it is realized through the production of reports and liberal arts programs that require relatively low production costs. On the other hand, entertainment programs are areas that are difficult for local broadcasts to try. Nevertheless, local channel KCTV Jeju Broadcasting is receiving attention and love from local residents by producing and broadcasting a number of sitcoms that reflect locality one after another. This study aimed to focus on the narrative composition method and locality of local broadcast sitcoms targeting KCTV Jeju broadcasting “Hai Phong Three Families” produced and broadcasted in Jeju. As a research method, event-centered plot analysis of beings such as the subject and pattern of the character’s conflict, the development of events and actions, and the spatio-temporal background of the play were used as the central framework for text analysis. As a result of the study, this sitcom, based on episodes experienced by multicultural families in rural life, expressed the joys and sorrows of multicultural families realistically with appropriate laughter and satire rather than heavy reality. The narrative composition characteristics of the sitcom included binary confrontation of major characters and narrative composition through daily life, episodes that are most closely related to our lives. As for the locality analysis of sitcoms, they were able to communicate in Jeju language, a local dialect, incorporate the subject matter of local life culture, discrimination and prejudice against multicultural families and marriage immigrant women., and the characteristics of self-orientalism.

지역방송의 핵심 기능은 지역성이 풍부한 콘텐츠의 생산과 유통에 있지만, 제작비가 비교적 적게 드는 보도와 교양 프로그램 제작을 통해 실현되고 있다. 반면에 오락 프로 그램은 지역방송이 시도하기 어려운 영역이다. 그런데도 지역채널 KCTV제주방송은 지역성을 반영한 다수의 시트콤을 잇달아 편성하면서 지역민의 관심과 사랑을 받고 있 다. 본 연구는 제주지역에서 제작 방송된 KCTV제주방송 <하이퐁 세 가족>을 대상으로 지역방송 시트콤의 서사 구성 방식과 지역성 발견에 초점을 맞추고자 했다. 연구방법으 로 <하이퐁 세 가족>의 모든 에피소드별로 등장인물의 갈등 주체와 양상, 사건과 행위 의 전개, 극의 시공간적 배경 등 존재물의 사건 중심 플롯 분석과 이항대립 계열체 관 점을 텍스트 분석의 중심 틀로 사용했다. 연구결과, 다문화가족이 농촌 생활에서 겪는 에피소드를 소재로 한 이 시트콤은 다문화가족의 애환을 무거운 현실보다는 적당한 웃 음과 풍자로 현실감 있게 표현하였다. 시트콤의 서사 구성 특성은 주요 등장인물의 이 항대립과 일상성을 통한 서사 구성, 우리 삶과 가장 밀접한 가족 내에서 겪는 에피소드 등을 들 수 있었다. 시트콤의 지역성 분석으로는 지역방언인 제주어로 대화하며, 지역 생활문화의 소재 접목, 다문화가족과 결혼이민여성에 대한 차별과 편견 드러내기, 셀프 오리엔탈리즘의 특성 등을 발견할 수 있었다.
