Environmental management is mostly related to general industry or corporate management, and environmental management research related to agriculture and livestock industry is only a small part. Therefore, in order to deal with issues related to the livestock industry from an environmental management point of view, it is necessary to have sustainability and to understand the livestock circulation system. The livestock industry and livestock cycle related to environmental problems in Korea are very significant in environmental management, and the way to overcome this is to introduce life cycle evaluation and material flow cost accounting. This suggested as a change in livestock environmental management with profitability and sustainability, which are the advantages of environmental management.

환경경영은 대부분 일반산업이나 기업체 경영과 관련된 내용들이고 농업·축산업 관련 환경경영연구는 극히 일부에 불과하다. 따라서 축산업분야와 관련된 이슈를 환경경영관점 에서 다루기 위해서는 지속성을 가져야 하며 반드시 경축순환시스템을 이해해야 한다. 우 리나라의 환경문제와 관련한 축산업과 경축순환 등은 환경경영이 갖는 의의는 매우 크며 이를 극복하기 위한 방안으로 전과정평가와 물질흐름원가회계를 도입하는 것이다. 특히 이 부분은 환경경영의 장점인 수익성과 지속성을 가져 축산환경경영의 변화로 제시한다.
