This study focused on the effects of high-intensity social distancing on infant development(primarily aged 2) in order to prevent contagion caused by the Covid 19. In response, this study compared and analyzed the performance evaluation of the six areas of infant development based on the standard childcare process for 42 people in Gimpo A Daycare Center, Goyang B Daycare Center, and Seoul C Daycare Center. The results of the study are as follows. 1. There was a difference in infant development before and after Covid-19 Pandemic. 2. Strict personal hygiene management reinforced the daily living condition greatly by strengthening infection prevention activities. 3. Although development levels were slightly lower in sections such as physical activities, verbal communications, socializing, art and craft experiences, and nature exploration, there were no severe impacts on infant development caused by alternative child care activities regarding strengthening reading, close-to-repeat, and substitute activities. Rather, some facilities have shown better results than before Covid-19.

본 연구는 코로나19 바이러스 대유행으로 인한 감염예방을 위하여 고강도의 사회적 거리두기가 시행되면 서 변화된 일상이 영아발달에 미치는 영향에 대하여 만2세 영아를 중심으로 연구하였다. 본 연구는 김포 A어린이 집, 고양 B어린이집, 서울 C어린이집 만2세반 영아 2019년 21명, 2020년 21명 총42명을 대상으로 표준보육과정에 기초한 영아발달수준 6개 영역을 코로나19 팬데믹 이전과 이후인 2019년과 2020년의 수행평가를 비교분석하고, 영아의 발달차이에 대하여 연구하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 코로나19 팬데믹 이전과 이후의 영아발달에 차이가 발생하였다. 2. 감염예방활동 강화로 개인위생관리가 철저히 실시되어 기본생활영역의 발달이 크게 향상되 었다. 3. 신체활동, 의사소통, 사회관계, 예술경험, 자연탐구 등 영역에서 코로나19 팬데믹 이전보다 발달정도가 미 세하게 낮게 나타났지만, 독서 강화, 근접·반복대화, 대체활동 등의 대안적 보육활동 등으로 영아발달에 심각한 저 해는 없었다. 오히려 일부 시설에서는 코로나19 이전보다 향상된 발달을 보이기도 하였다.
