This article analyzes the activities of independence activists from North Jeolla Province who were active in Manchuria. They not only participated in the operation of Sinheung Military Academy at the vanguard of the armed struggle, but also in the battle of Cheongsan-ri, which was the most outstanding victory in the history of the Korean independence movement. Their research has received little attention so far. In this article, they tried to restore the activities of Manchuria during their entire lives. Kang Han-nyeon, who actually operated Sinheung Military Academy, and Gopyeong and Gang Mun-ju, who led the Battle of Cheongsan-ri to victory, were to be placed at the forefront of history. Independence activists from North Jeolla Province played a leading role in various independence movement groups that were active in Manchuria in the 1920s. In particular, he worked hard to maintain the organization of the independence movement by going back and forth from Korea to raise military funds.

이 글은 만주지역에서 활동한 전북출신 독립운동가들의 활동을 분석하였다. 그 들은 무장투쟁의 선봉에서 신흥무관학교 운영에도 참여하였을 뿐만 아니라 한국독 립운동사에서 가장 뛰어난 승전이었던 청산리 전투에도 참여하였다. 이들에 대한 연구는 지금까지 거의 주목을 받지 못했다. 이 글에서는 그들의 전 생애 가운데 만 주지역의 활동을 복원하려고 했다. 신흥무관학교를 실질적으로 운영하였던 강한년, 청산리 전투를 승전으로 이끌었던 고평과 강문주 등을 역사의 전면에 배치하고자 했다. 전북출신 독립운동가들은 1920년대 만주에서 활동했던 각 종 독립운동단체 에서 주도적인 역할을 하였다. 특히 군자금 모금을 위해 국내를 오가며 독립운동 조직 유지를 위해 힘썼다.
