The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of bereavement as a result death of companion animal on a Prolonged Grief relationship and the control effect of adult anxiety attachment, first the mourning as a result death of companion animal predict psychological maladies, second to second, the bereavement as a result death of companion animal to test whether they are ‘negative grief cognitions’ in the path to ‘Prolonged Grief’ and then to counteract them. To this end, a self-reporting questionnaire was conducted for 254 adults who had lost their pets (29 males, 225 females) that measured their pets, whether they were related to their pets, whether they were negative or not, their psychological maladies, and their adulthood. The results of this study analyzed using Hayes’ Process No. 4 and 8 models are as follows. First, pet lovers predicted psychological maladaptation. Second, pet lovers had a significant effect on persistent obesity by using the medium as a medium for negative love. Third, adult adornment was shown to have a significant adjustment effect on the indirect path to psychoanalysis by means of a medium for whether or not pets are negative, but not in the direct path from companion animal to psychological ineligible. Finally, the implications of this study were discussed as well as suggestions for future research.

본 연구의 목적은 반려동물 사별로 인한 애도가 지속 비애를 예측하는 경로에서 부정적 비애인지가 매개 변인으로 작용하는지를 확인하는 것이다. 첫째로 반려동물 사별로 인한 애도가 지속 비애라는 심리적 부적응을 예측하는지 검증하고자 하였다. 둘째, 반려동물 사별로 인한 애도가 지속 비애를 예 측하는 경로에서 부정적 비애인지의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 셋째, 반려동물 사별로 인한 애 도가 지속 비애에 미치는 직접 경로와 부정적 비애인지 의해 매개된 간접경로에서 작용할 것이라고 가정되는 성인불안애착의 조절 효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 반려동물 사별 경험이 있는 성인 254명 (남 29명, 여 225명)을 대상으로, 반려동물 애도, 부정적 비애인지, 지속 비애, 성인불안애착을 측정하 는 자기 보고식 설문지를 실시하였다. Hayes의 Process 4번, 8번 모델을 사용하여 분석한 본 연구의 결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 반려동물 사별로 인한 애도는 지속 비애를 예측하였다. 둘째, 반려동물 사별 로 인한 애도는 부정적 비애인지를 매개로 하여 지속 비애에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 성인불안 애착은 반려동물 사별로 인한 애도가 부정적 비애인지를 매개로 하여 지속 비애에 미치는 간접경로 에서 유의한 조절 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점과 함께 향후 연구 에 대한 제언에 대하여 논의하였다.
