[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to explore the content knowledge required for golf instruction. It was intended to systematically construct golf content knowledge. And to strengthen the golf teaching ability of golf instructor to utilize it as a basic data for improving professionalism. [Method] Participants in the study were selected using ideal case selection as a method of reference selection. Data were collected using open questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Data analysis used inductive category analysis. [Result] As a result of research, The content knowledge of the golf instructor is related to physical activity. First, golf basic knowledge such as golf rules, etiquette, and safety, Second, golf skill knowledge of full swing and short game, Third, golf tactic knowledge such as golf course management, using slopes and wind. [Conclusion] First, Golf instructors need to be re-educated to enhance their expertise and strengthen their instruction skills. Second, It is necessary to expand beyond the knowledge biased in golf skill knowledge. Last, It is necessary to have a systematic golf guidance that utilizes content knowledge, not to follow the senior golf guidance method.

[목적] 본 연구는 골프지도에 필요한 내용지식을 탐색해보고자 하였다. 골프 내용지식을 체계적으로 구성해보고, 골 프지도자의 지도역량을 강화하여 전문성 향상에 기초자료로서 활용하고자 하였다. [방법] 연구참여자는 준거적 선택 의 한 방법으로 이상적 사례 선택을 이용하여 선정하였다. 개방적 질문지와 심층면담을 이용하여 자료를 수집하였 다. 자료분석은 Spradley(1980)의 분류분석과 영역분석방법을 사용하였다. [결과] 연구를 진행한 결과, 골프지도자의 내용지식은 신체활동과 관련하여 첫째, 골프규칙, 에티켓, 안전 등의 골프기초지식, 둘째, 풀스윙과 숏게임의 골프기 술지식, 셋째, 골프코스 공략, 경사이용, 바람 이용 등의 골프전술지식으로 나타났다. [결론] 골프지도자의 전문성 신 장과 지도 역량을 강화하기 위해 골프지도자의 재교육이 필요하고, 골프기술지식에 치우쳐져 있는 지식을 보다 확장 하는 것이 필요하며, 대물림되는 골프지도방식이 아닌 내용지식을 활용한 체계적인 골프지도가 필요하다.
