The purpose of this paper is to examine the study theory of Soon-Am Ahn Jung-Bok, focusing on the study over the Hahak-jinam. It also discuss implications of the study theory. Soon-Am is a scholar who emphasizes the practicality and dailiness of the study, and is supposed to study as a combination of knowing and doing. This perspective is concretely revealed through the content of Hahak-jinam. With regard to education today, his idea of the study provides a clue to review the meaning or importance of reality in explaining the relationship between education theory and practice, while at the same time establishing a specific curriculum including performance tasks that resemble real life problems. Finally, his ideas can also contribute to understanding learner-centered education.

이 논문은 순암 안정복의 공부론을 『하학지남』을 중심으로 살펴보고, 그가 제시 한 하학 중심의 공부론이 가지고 있는 교육적 의미를 논의하는 데 목적이 있다. 순 암은 학문의 실용성과 일상성을 강조한 학자로서 앎과 행함의 결합체로서 공부를 상 정하고 있다. 이런 그의 관점은 『하학지남』의 내용을 통해 구체적으로 드러나 있다. 오늘날 교육과 관련하여 하학 중심의 공부론은 교육 이론과 실제의 관계를 설명하는 데 있어 실제의 의미나 중요성을 재검토하는 실마리를 제공하는 동시에 실제 삶의 문제와 닮아있는 수행 과제를 포함한 구체적인 교육과정 수립의 필요성을 보여준다. 나아가 그의 아이디어는 학습자 중심의 교육관을 이해하는 데에도 기여할 수 있다.
