Cooperation through the standardization activities of the two Koreas is expected to eventually create conditions for revitalizing the North and South Korean industries and expanding and cooperating with other sectors. The cooperation of information and telecommunication standards will promote the modernization of technological fields of the North and South Korea in the mid and long term, and ultimately improve the quality of life of North Koreans through the improvement of the productivity of North Korea. This leads to the physical overcoming of the division, and the activation of human exchange and material exchange can lead to peace on the Korean Peninsula and change of North Korea, and to establish a virtuous cycle order of inter-Korean economic cooperation and peace. The effect of enhancing the national image from the area of conflict and confrontation to the peace zone in the past can be developed into direct economic effect....... The possibility of expanding our market to North Korea and the North region will lead to the continued development of the North Korean market and to utilize it as a stepping stone for the Korean economy to take off again. It is possible to develop a new business area in North Korea, and it will be able to expand into domestic market of Northeast, Samsung, Oceans, and Mongolia. Through the standardization activities of information and communication, the economic community of North and South Korea can be connected with the northern economy of the continent, thereby inducing the Northeast Asian economic community and regional economic integration, and the cornerstone of preparing the coming unification era with our capacity through investment for peace and future.

남북한 정보통신의 표준 활동을 통한 협력은 궁극적으로 남북한 산업의 활성화와 이를 통한 타 분야로의 협력을 확대 재생산할 수 있는 여건을 조성할 것으로 기대된다. 정보통신 표준 협력은 중장기적으로 남북한 의 기술 분야의 현대화를 촉진하게 될 것이며, 북한의 생산력 향상을 통해 궁극적으로 북한 주민의 삶의 질 을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다. 이는 분단을 물리적으로 극복하도록 유도하며, 인적 교류와 물적 교류가 활 성화되어 한반도 평화와 북한의 변화를 유도하고 남북경협과 평화의 선순환 질서를 구축하는 계기가 될 수 있다. 과거 갈등과 대립의 지역에서 평화지역으로의 국가 이미지 제고 효과는 직접 경제적 효과로 발전될 수 있다 북한지역에서 신사업영역을 개발할 수 있고 동북 삼성, 연해주, 몽골지역의 내수시장화 까지 확대 할 수 있을 것이다. 정보 통신 표준 활동을 통해 남북한 경제공동체가 대륙의 북방경제와 연결됨으로써 동북아 경 제공동체 및 지역경제 통합을 유도할 수 있으며, 평화와 미래를 위한 투자를 통해 다가올 통일시대를 우리 의 역량으로 준비하는 초석이 될 수 있다.
