How are industries, universities, research institutes and government agencies working together to wisely cope with the new era of convergence? As the importance of innovation caused by convergence and convergence between heterogeneous technologies has increased, the importance of industrial-academic cooperation research has emerged as a major source of technology acquisition. This study was intended to identify the current status and examples of cooperation mentioned in each sector through a literature survey and a case studies. According to the study, it has been found that the cooperative relationship is maintained in terms of joint technology development and fostering creative fusion talent through cooperation between industry and academia in accordance with the convergence trend. In particular, the roles of government-funded (annual) and government (including themselves) have been shown to support such R&D or human resources development through policies, or sometimes participate in convergence-related projects as direct participants through clusters of industry-academic associations. In addition, the trend of expanding physical integration beyond mere partnerships is emerging, referring to the creation of interdisciplinary spatial convergence environments between industry and school, such as the Industrial-Academic Convergence Zone.

융복합이라는 새로운 시대를 현명하게 대처하기 위해 산업계, 대학, 연구소, 정부기관은 어떻게 협력 하고 있을까? 이종기술 간 융·복합화에 의한 혁신의 중요성이 커지면서 기술 확보의 주요 원천으로 산 학연 협력 연구의 중요성이 부상하였다. 이에 본 연구는 각 부문에서 언급되고 있는 협력 현황과 사례 를 문헌조사와 사례조사를 통해 확인하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 융복합 트렌드에 따라 산학연관 협력을 통해 크게 공동기술개발과 창의적 융복합 인재양성 양성 차원에서 긴밀한 협력 관계를 유지하 고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 특히 정부출연(연) 및 정부(지자체 포함)의 역할은 이러한 R&D나 인재 양성을 정책을 통해 지원하거나 때로는 산학연관 클러스터 등을 통해 직접적인 참여자로서 융복합 관 련 사업에 참여하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 산학융합지구와 같은 산학연간 공간적 융합환경 조성 을 언급하며 단순한 협력관계를 넘어 물리적인 통합까지 확장되고 있는 추세로 나타나고 있다.
