This study, based on the survey and analysis of 341 elite judoist who participated in the Olympics, Asian Games and world championships, found the following conclusions by gender, competition level, and winning experience. Male athletes had the highest professorship of 27.19%, while female coaches had the highest coaching position of 31.85%. Second, the job distribution of judo national athletes by competition level was the highest in the Olympic Games with 26.24% teaching positions, while the Asian Games had the highest coaching position with 30%, including 30%. In the case of the national team participating in the world championships, the highest number of coaches was 28.16%, followed by individual businesses, professors and police officers. The job distribution of Judo national athletes by prize-winning experience was the highest with 19.54% for Olympic athletes, followed by running a gymnasium, coaching(including coaches), and personal business. Meanwhile, for non-adopted athletes, the number of coaching positions was 16.09%, followed by police officers and professors. For Asian Games athletes, coaching positions were the highest at 23.75%, while for non-adopted athletes, coaches and office workers were 6.25% and police officers 1.25%, respectively. The world championships saw the highest number of professors with 11.49%.

본 연구는 올림픽, 아시안게임, 세계선수권에 참가한 엘리트 유도선수 341명을 대상으로 선수은퇴 후 어떠한 사회 이동으로 직업생활을 하고 있는지 성별, 대회수준별, 입상경력별로 조사, 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 성별 유도 국가대표 선수의 직업분포는 남자선수의 경우 교수직이 27.19%로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 여자선수는 코치직(감독포함)이 31.85%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 대회수준별 유도 국가대표 선수의 직업분포는 올림픽대회는 교수직이 26.24%로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 아시안게임은 코치직(감독포함)이 30.00%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 세계선수 권에 참가한 국가대표의 경우는 코치직(감독포함)이 28.16%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 한편 비입상 선수의 경우 코치직(감 독 포함)이 16.09%로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 경찰공무원, 교수직 순으로 나타났다. 아시안게임 입상선수의 경우 코치직 (감독 포함)이 23.75%로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 비입상 선수의 경우 코치직과 직장인이 각각 6.25%, 경찰공무원이 1.25%로 나타났다. 세계선수권은 입상선수의 경우 교수직이 11.49%로 가장 높게 나타났다.
