This study is a study on the future direction of NGCV (Next Generation Combat Vehicle) development taking into account the concept of future ground forces maneuvers at the tactical level. Combat development is the process of developing the concept of carrying out future ground operations to ensure victory in future warfare, identifying and presenting the required future operational capabilities, and creating the necessary needs to equip them, reflecting them in the planning and management system, and implementing them. In this study, the concept of future combat performance was established with the focus on the maneuver of the concept of combat implementation in the tactical criticality level, and based on this, the capabilities required for NGCV were derived and presented. First, to establish the concept of mobile combat implementation, we considered the development of science and technology centered on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the recent practice of combat and the concept of future combat implementation, and the threats from neighboring countries including North Korea, which could pose a threat to us in the future. Through the above research system, the concept of mobile combat implementation was set as the concept of "non-adjacent and long-distance combat" and the NGCV's required capabilities to implement such concept of combat implementation were presented. The core force of future ground warfare will be NGCV. Our army should also prepare for future warfare and lead the fourth industry through NGCV development before it is too late.

본 연구는 전술적 차원에서 미래 지상군 기동전투수행개념을 고려한 미래 NGCV(Next Generation Combat Vehicle)발전방향에 대한 연구이다. 전투발전은 미래전에서 승리를 보장하기 위해 미래 지상작전 수행개념을 발전시키고, 요 구되는 미래 작전능력을 식별하여 제시하며, 이를 구비하는 데 필요한 소요를 창출하여 기 획관리체계에 반영하고 상호 협조 및 구현해 나가는 과정이다. 본 연구에서는 미래 전투수행개념을 전술적수준에서 전투수행개념의 기동을 중심으로 정 립해보고 이를 기초로 NGCV에 요구되는 능력을 도출하여 제시하였다. 먼저 기동전투수행 개념을 정립하기 위해서 4차산업혁명을 중심으로 한 과학기술의 발전추세를 고려하고, 최근 전투수행사례와 화자되고 있는 미래전투수행개념을 고려하였으며, 미래 우리에게 위협이 될 수 있는 북한을 포함한 주변국의 위협을 고려하였다. 위와 같은 연구체계를 통하여 기동전투수행개념을 비접적· 원거리전투 개념으로 설정하 였으며 이러한 전투수행개념을 구현하기 위한 NGCV의 요구되는 능력을 제시하였다. 미래 지상전의 핵심전력은 NGCV가 될 것이다. 우리 육군도 더 늦기 전에 NGCV개발을 통하여 미래전에 대비하고 4차산업을 선도해야한다.
