Communication through educational meeting(M. Buber), transcendence(E. Levinas) and journey to find the truth(Oh, Chun-Seok) will bring about the vividly alive relationship and connectedness between teachers and students. Without any self-centered attitudes, vividly alive ethics teachers would fill his(her) classroom up with throbbing vital energy, and could facilitate some meaningful transformation or emergence in the students’ character〔morality〕. There is an essential similarity between moral education which transform students’ character through authentic interaction and biological mechanism which produce ‘auto-poiesis’ of the living thing originated from its individuality and openness. Educator’s volition and consciousness to find and respond to the students’ deficiency and request will facilitate moral education as the process of living.

교사가 자기중심성에서 벗어나 학생과의 교육적 만남을 통해 나누는 “대화”(M. Buber), “초월”(E. Levinas & 김연숙), “진리에의 길”(오천 석)은 생생히 살아있는 관계성과 연결성을 가져온다. 두 현존 간의 살 아있는 ‘만남’을 통해 인성의 변화를 촉진하는 도덕교육과, 생명체가 개 체 고유성과 개방성으로부터 자기 생성을 창발해내는 생물학적 기제에는 근 본적 유사함이 존재한다. 학생의 결핍과 요청을 발견하고 의미 있는 소통을 나누려는 교사의 의식은 “살아있음의 도덕교육”을 가능하게 할 것이다.
