Due to climate change, coastal areas are vulnerable to natural disasters and are expected to worsen environmentally. Therefore, for efficient management of coastal disaster, this study proposes spatial classification according to the characteristics in the coastal area of Busan Metropolitan City and presents adaptive strategy inventory of coastal disaster accordingly. The spatial classification along the coast is classified by human and social characteristics, such as land use and coastline type, and physical and geographical characteristics such as coastal slopes and wave height. The adaptive strategies refer to foreign case studies and each strategy presents the suitability by the characteristics of the coastal areas previously classified. It is expected that this inventory will present a variety of alternatives to the disaster management scenario and that an integrated approach to coastal disaster will help the multidisciplinary stakeholders better understand their work and make efficient decisions. This study is considered meaningful in that it has taken the first step in establishing an empirical strategy inventory considering regional capabilities and land use of coastal areas.

기후변화로 인해 연안지역은 자연재해에 더 취약해지고 그 위험도는 갈수록 심화될 것으로 예측된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 효율적 연안재해관리를 위하여 부산광역시를 대상으로 연안공간특성별 공간분류 및 특성별 적합한 적응전략에 대해 고찰하고 그에 따른 인벤토리를 제시하였다. 연안의 공간분류는 토지이용, 해안선종류 등 인문․사회적 특성과 연안경사도, 파고 등 물리․지형적 특성에 따라 분류하였다. 적응능력향상을 위한 전략은 국내의 연안시설물 현황 및 해외의 연안재해 대응 전략을 참조하였다. 구축된 인벤토리는 재해 시나리오에 따른 다양한 대안을 제시하고, 연안재해에 대한 통합적 접근으로 다원화된 이해관계자들의 업무 이해도 증진․효율적 의사결정을 지원하게 될 것이라 기대된다. 본 연구는 지역의 역량을 고려한 실증적인 인벤토리 구축에 첫발을 내딛었으며, 기존 연구에는 없었던 연안육역의 토지이용형태를 고려하여 연안재해 대응을 위한 공간을 분류했다는 측면에서 의의가 있다고 고려된다.
