Human desire to have new abilities is as old as the human species itself. However, the nature of man evolves not simply with evolution but with a close relationship with human machine creation. However, humans try to regard beings created by their desires as 'mechanical other'. In short, human beings are afraid of machines. Today, human beings are living in the digital panopticon, in which human beings themselves are not only the subject of surveillance, but the object of surveillance, they illuminate and monitor themselves. In this article, I would like to talk about the era of human machine addiction. In most science fictions, science and technology are represented as fearful things. Because of these fears, humans define mechanical things as being lower than humans and place them on the object of surveillance. While anthropocentric thought mechanical types is a form of human being unable to escape from machine addiction. In the end, machine addiction of human causes people to question their own identity. Machine addiction of human throws human beings into a dilemma. Further research is needed on the social problems that will arise in the process of changing the identity of human beings, and the in – depth examination of machine addiction of human patterns.

새로운 능력을 갖고자 하는 인간의 욕망은 인간이라는 종(種) 자체만큼이나 오래 되었다. 그런데 인간의 본성은 단순히 진화하는 것이 아니라 인간의 기계 창조와 밀접한 관계를 가지고 진화한다. 하지만 인간은 자신들의 욕망으로 낳은 존재들을 ‘기계적 타자’로서만 간주하려고 한다. 간단히 말해서 인간은 기계를 두려워하기 때문이다. 오늘날 인간은 인간 스스로가 감시의 주체이자, 감시의 대상으로서의 역할을 하면서 자기 자신을 조명하고 감시하는 디지털 파놉티콘 시대에 살고 있다. 이러한 시대를 본 글에서 인간의 기계중독 시대라고 이야기하고자 한다. 대부분의 공상과학 텍스트에서 과학기술은 두려운 존재로 표상된다. 이러한 두려움 때문에 인간은 기계적 존재를 인간보다 하등한 존재로서 규정지어 감시의 대상에 놓는다. 인간중심주의적 사고로 기계를 감시의 대상으로 놓으면서도, 계속적으로 기계적 타자를 만들어내는 인간의 모습은 기계중독을 벗어나지 못하는 인간의 모습이다. 결국 인간의 기계중독은 인간의 스스로의 정체성에 대한 의문을 품게 만든다. 인간의 기계중독은 인간을 딜레마에 던져 놓는다는 것이다 인간의 기계 중독 양상에 대한 심도 있는 고찰과 그로 인해 인간의 정체성이 바뀌는 과정 속에서 발생하게 될 사회적 문제들에 대한 후속 연구가 필요하다.
