10) This study aims to identify the characteristics of the research trends in gambling addiction in Korea and suggest the development direction for future research. A total of 191 papers were selected from the search results by the word "gambling addiction" on RISS, DBpia, and National Assembly Library, and the title, key words, and abstract of the papers were analyzed through semantic network analysis. First, the study shows that there has been a sharp increase in the number of papers published since 2009, and most of them were conducted upon the quantitative research method. Second, based on the result of the appearance frequency and centrality analysis, the common topics discussed in the papers are: research on adolescents and university students, Internet gambling, Internet addiction, irrational gambling belief, and recovery, prevention, and treatment. Third, when the key words of the abstracts were analyzed by period, the words such as gambling, addiction, gambling addiction, treatment, and problem appeared commonly throughout the periods. Also, while the words like Internet, treatment, effects, programs, management, and games saw an upward trend, the word "realities" saw a downward trend. Lastly, the sub-topic clusters found through cluster analysis are as follows: addiction treatment program, development of gambling addiction scale, Internet gambling, relation between gambling behavior and irrational gambling beliefs of university students and adolescents, recovery experience from gambling, casino gambling and pathological gambling, and gambling policy. Finally, the study discusses the implications for future research as well as its own limitations, based on the results of the analysis.

본 연구의 목적은 도박중독 국내 연구동향의 특징과 발전 방향을 제시하는 것이다. RISS, DBpia, 국회전자도서관에서 ‘도박중독’으로 검색하여 최종 191편을 선정하였고, 언어 네트워 크 분석으로 논문제목, 키워드(주요어), 논문초록을 분석하였다. 첫째, 연구수가 2009년 이 후 급속히 증가하는 양상을 보였고, 양적연구에 치중되어 이루어졌다. 둘째, 출현빈도와 중심 성 분석 결과, 청소년･대학생 대상 연구, 인터넷도박, 인터넷중독, 비합리적 도박신념, 회복･ 예방･치료가 다루어지고 있었다. 셋째, 논문초록의 시기별 핵심단어로는 도박, 중독, 도박중 독, 치료, 문제가 공통적으로 나타났다. 인터넷, 치료, 효과, 프로그램, 관리, 게임 등은 상승 세를 보인 반면, 실태는 하락세를 보였다. 마지막으로 군집분석 결과, 중독 치료 프로그램, 도박중독 관련 척도개발, 인터넷 도박, 대학생 및 청소년 대상 도박행동과 비합리적 도박신념 간 관계, 도박으로부터의 회복 경험, 카지노 도박 및 병적도박, 도박문제 관련 정책으로 군집 이 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 향후 연구를 위한 제언과 연구의 한계점에 대해 논의하였다.
