The purpose of this study is to analyze the depressive profile of the prisoners in the correctional facilities and to analyze the explanatory factors of the potential group. We analyzed the potential profile of 926 respondents who answered all 11 items of the CES-D11 scale of 'Health Care Status of Detention Facilities in 2016'. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, 42.6% of the detainees were suspected to be depressed and were depressed. Second, when analyzing the potential group of depressed people, it is classified into non depressed group, low depressed group, and high depressed group. Third, factors that explain depression potential group type were eating and sleeping problems. These results suggest that the improvement of the environment of the correctional facility is required along with the expansion of the program for the prevention of depression in the correctional facility.

본 연구는 교정시설 수용자의 우울 프로파일을 분석하여 우울 잠재집단을 도출하고 그 설명요인을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. ‘2016년 구금시설 건강권 실태조사’ 중 우울척도(CES-D11) 11개 문항을 모두 응답한 926명을 대상으로 잠재프로파일분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수용자의 42.6%가 우울증으로 의심되어 우울증 취약 집단이었다. 둘째, 수용자의 우울 잠재 집단을 분석하면, 비우울 집단, 저우울 집단, 고우울 집단으로 구분된다. 셋째, 우울 잠재 집단 유형을 설명하는 요인은 식사와 수면문제로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 교정시설 수용자의 우울 예방 프로그램 확대와 함께, 교정시설의 환경 개선이 요구됨을 시사한다.
