The purpose of this study is to find out how pre-service mathematics teachers should prepare for the teaching of probability and statistics in school mathematics and to help improve teacher education. To do this, questionnaires and evaluation of probabilistic and statistical curriculum were conducted for pre-service teachers, and regression analysis and correlation between them were examined. Through the investigation, the items with low evaluation results due to level of difficulty were extracted and analyzed. As a result, first, it is necessary to teach pre-service mathematics teachers with link the contents curriculum of college and secondary school about probability and statistics. Second, accurate diagnosis of pre-service mathematics teachers' understanding of probabil ity and statistics is needed. Third, the misconceptions and causes of pre-service mathem atics teachers were analyzed in detail. And suggests that various follow-up studies related to this are needed.

본 연구는 예비 수학교사들이 학교수학에서 확률과 통계 교수를 위해 어떠한 준비를 해야 하는지를 알아보고 교사교육 개선에 도움을 주고자 함이다. 이를 위해 예비 교사를 대상으로 확률과 통계학 교 육과정의 설문과 평가를 실시하고 이들 간의 회귀분석과 상관관계를 조사하였다. 조사를 통해 난이도 에 비해 평가 결과가 낮게 나타난 문항을 추출하고 이를 토대로 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 확률과 통 계에 대한 중등 학교수학과 대학수학의 내용체계를 연계하여 예비 수학교사들을 지도할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 예비 수학교사들의 확률과 통계 교과목 이해 정도의 정확한 진단이 필요하다. 셋째, 예비 수학교 사들이 가진 오개념과 그 원인의 다양함을 알게 되었다. 그리고 이와 관련된 지속적인 후속 연구가 필요하다는 시사점을 도출하였다.
